Interact Club Tier System

The purpose of a tier system is to Identify, Acknowledge, and Act on actions and participation displayed by each Interact Member.

The tier system will allow leadership to IDENTIFY which members are doing their part and which are not. Those who are will continue to move up the tiers and those who are not will stay stagnant at the bottom tier. Once leadership is able to recognize active and inactive members, they can then ACKNOWLEDGE and assess what steps should be taken next. As stated previously, members fulfilling their commitment will have no problem moving up each tier. However when a member has not achieved what is expected of them, leadership may ACT to do what is best for both parties involved.

In order to move up a tier, each member must reach the amount of points needed to achieve that tier. Points will be rewarded to each member that attends meetings (1 point for 2 meetings or ½ point per meeting) and participates in community service or fundraising activities (point value varies based on event). The tier system will be used to identify “Member Of The Month” candidates.

Our leadership team asks that you recognize the commitment that is involved when you sign up. We wish that you would not use Interact Club as a filler for applications or scholarships if you are not an Official Member (4 Points).
